Frenchie is in a situation where he clearly needs to talk to someone (heck everyone in this show does) but talking to someone he knows and that has a very strong likelihood becoming a past tense relationship depending on "the things bothering him"... that's where a therapist (who has a non-disclosure HIPA responsibility to say absolutely nothing to anyone unless someone is in imminent danger or a serious crime has been/is being committed...like murder or child abuse) comes in and can take all the junk (for a fee) and help the person sort their situations out by using manipulation/brain washing techniques (literally, as in like washing all the garbage out) with the consent of the person and for their own good. Like hiring a penetration tester AKA "white hat hacker" to try to hack your system to help fix your security issues.

Children have black and white thinking, similar to adults with certain personality disorders and other things that the DSMIVR and DMSV would list. He was given an extremely "positive" interaction by a person who previously had dominated him. That person also happens to be his father, and people even as adults will subconsciously display traits from their parents that they themselves might have hated as children...He has an extremely simplistic view of right and wrong, is being raised by a narcissist (I get he's a superhero, but the psychological symptoms being displayed are textbook), and he's seen insanely desensitizing things happen in front of him repeatedly. He killed someone... as a child.. and got 0 emotional support or THERAPY. That's how a person develops maladaptive behaviors and can become a sociopath (A "type of antisocial personality disorder that is "learned" rather than from brain anomalies from birth), a narcissist, borderline (emotionally unstable PD in the DSMV), ect.. It makes perfect sense.

2024-07-18 13:58:55 +0000 UTCI don’t think his dad was holding a grudge per se, he just didn’t think Hewie had the strength to make the touch decisions. And he’s technically right. The Hewie he was when the show started absolutely did not have that strength. He’s only gained it through his interactions with the boys. And if you consider how little time he’s actually spent with his dad since he joined them, it’s understandable Pop wouldn’t know the new him yet and still see him as that emotionally weak individual he was in episode 1

2024-07-11 12:15:52 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed season 1-3. Now they have become the thing they used to joke about😪 It's "saving" grace is that there are a lot of good actors in this, they're doing what they can with what they're given. So in the end it's mediocre i guess😅

2024-07-11 06:52:28 +0000 UTCI think there was some significance in the scene with the rabbit and the tentacles. I'm pretty sure that was suppose to be the rabbit that had been on temp v. If so, it is implied that the same events will likely happen to butcher. Perhaps those tentacles already showed themselves when he blacked out and killed that religious dude. I think that's what we're supposed to believe at least.
