November Ad-Free Link and Update

Greetings. About two weeks ago Minecraft 1.21.3 was released. In my last post a month ago I was excited to share that the Item UI in MCStacker had been completely revised to eliminate clutter. The downside to this is that there are a few extra steps users have to make to add the components they want. As mcstacker.net was updated to the new version, some users on the MCStacker Discord were a bit unhappy with the changes. To help reduce this pain. An 'Add All' and 'Remove All' buttons were added so that users who want to see all the components can do that more easily. Unfortunately, some users are still unsatisfied with this because components are not presented the same way as before so are still using the pre 1.21.3 versions of MCStacker. This all reminds me of 2017 when MCStacker was completely redesigned. There was a lot of negative feedback about it at the time. It's not that the UI was made worse it's just that users don't like having to re-learn how the UI now works. I get it, but these changes had to be made for several reasons. The main reason is to reduce technical debt. As software evolves and new features are added, it gets harder and harder to maintain. So sometimes you have to refactor some code so that future changes will be easier. Other reasons relate to usability which is an important consideration. But changing the UI can lead to user frustration. It's a tough problem to solve. The saying "You can't please all the people all of the time." seems pertinent here. Anyway, there may be further enhancements I can make to it, but I definitely won't be rolling back to how it was. I guess I better get to work on 1.22 soon.
