[2 new Swords episodes]

There was a continuity error with Choplet but I've fixed it. Sorry to cause Eternal Chaos.

With Wellycon behind me, I planned to hit the ground running on Monday and take care of a lot of things, but I was blind-sided by some big, ikky webcomic community drama. I'm pretty offended by what I've discovered, but to give you more specific details could potentially lead to people being harassed and I don't want any part of that. I'd like to just stay in my own lane and build my own success right now and I've probably said too much already.

I know that's not very satisfying!! Sorry!! Thank you to everyone who signed up to Patreon this week!! Patreon is currently my full-time job, which was never the plan, and any money from Cut the Deck is being reinvested in the project so we don't get caught with our pants down like a lot of TTRPGs at the moment. So I appreciate you being here.

Swords is on track to reach Episode 1000 by Christmas (assuming I keep a 3 episode a week pace without any big hiatuses to slow me down).

I posted some recaps of Bread Knight and Harpe on Webtoon and I'm being accused of keeping some of the story behind a paywall - no, y'all just forgot these episodes existed. But if I'm going to get accused of made-up stuff no matter what I do, maybe I'll make some Patreon-exclusive Big Choplet episodes or something.

We've been doing some behind the scenes work for the future of Swords: Cut the Deck.
I'm currently trying to math-out if it's worth doing 50 community-commissioned-Mystery-Swords as a side-deck to help fund an expansion (we did 16 in the last campaign). 50 commissions is a lot, but over a long enough time horizon and with a few more rules to keep it timely, it might help the project get into a better position. If you're potentially keen on one, let me know so I can make a list of people to reach out to. We've also shipped 2400 copies of the base game now, getting close to finished!

I'm involved in two other non-Swords card game projects right now too - so a lot of emails going back and forth.

I have been drinking 5 glasses of water a day, taking a vitamin and I am on day 4 of no candy. My eyes have been all bloodshot for the last few days - either I've been using copious amounts of sugar to mask all sorts of problems my body has, or I'm going through withdrawal symptoms, or both. In any case I should give my eyes a break and stay off the computer for a bit - a good excuse to maybe tidy my office.

That said, I've been up all night playing Expedition 33 (Act 2). I've decided I'm not allowed to play it again until I sell some more copies of Cut the Deck. I also watched Season 1 of Fallout this week, and am keeping up with Taskmaster UK. Did I mention I watched Crimes Of The Future a while ago?
