Object transformation: Stuffed Unicorn (YouTube)

Ned was well known as the annoying guy in his college. He loved playing pranks and being annoying. More so to the female students than the males, and they all knew about it and tried to stay as far away from him as possible.

He managed to make quite the reputation for himself, which ended up making it nearly impossible for him to date anyone, as they all knew he acted like an immature kid most of the time. He did try to stop being like that; however, when he got rejected, he’d return to his old ways right away.

So when a new student arrived, a girl named Julie, Ned turned his focus towards her. She was new, which was strange as it was the middle of the school year, but it also meant she had no idea who Ned was, and it meant he might stand a chance.

Even better than that, she moved into the apartment on campus that was left vacant by a student named Julius who had vanished suddenly last month without so much as a word, which Ned didn’t care one bit about.

Julius’ disappearance made a new cute girl appear, and that was all Ned cared about. Ned wasted no time trying to ask her out, but despite not knowing him, the girl seemed put off by him and rejected him.

So as he does, Ned went back to his old ways and decided he was going to prank her like he’s done to all the others who rejected him. So he started to try and prank her, but he soon found that Julie was quite the hard target.

She didn’t use the shared bathrooms, instead using the solo gender-neutral bathroom, so Ned’s plan to pour a bucket of slimy liquid over the stall door, covering her from head to toe, was thrown out the window.

He then found she didn’t change or shower with the other girls, so he was unable to sneak in and cover her clothes with itching powder. She was also careful when opening her locker, meaning his attempt to rig silly string to explode over her when she opened it failed.

A normal person would have given up at this point and moved on, but Ned wasn’t a normal person; he was a very dedicated and annoying person. So he kept coming up with new plans, hoping something would work.

When that continued to fail, Ned started to think something was up with Julie, and he decided she was hiding something, and it was his job to figure it out. So he called up one of his shady friends and asked for that special magic spell that had been going around.

The spell was supposed to let someone possess an object, and Ned planned to use it to turn into the stuffed unicorn plush that Julie kept tucked away in her backpack at all times. He only knows that because he checked when he was messing with her locker.

The next day during school hours, while Julie was at cheerleader practice, Ned snuck into her locker, which was easy since he knew the combination now. Once he was inside, he removed the stuffed unicorn and held it in his hands.

He then pulls out the spell and starts to read it. Once he finished reciting the spell, he felt it start to activate, and with it, his body started to vanish. He blacked out for a minute, and when he came to, he was sitting on the ground, unable to move or speak.

To his surprise, he was able to smell, see, hear, and perhaps taste things, which was mostly good. If he couldn’t see, he wouldn’t be able to find out Julie’s secret. Ned waited around for about an hour for Julie to finish cheerleading practice and come find him.

She was super upset to see her plush on the ground and her locker opened, and she looked around with tears in her eyes as she picked Ned up and stuffed him into her bag. She then closed her locker and started to leave.

Things got dark for Ned as he was inside her bag, which was now zipped. So he could only hear her and feel himself getting tossed back and forth with each step she took. Sometime later, she gets home and removes Ned from her bag.

She placed him on her bed and wiped the tears from her face. She then began to complain to Ned, which she still thought was a normal stuffed unicorn. Ned wasn’t really interested in how bad her day was and waited for her to reveal her big secret.

Eventually she started talking about getting cursed, which Ned had a feeling was a part of her big secret. She picked up Ned and said it was all his fault, and by that she meant the stuffed unicorn plush.

She said it cursed her, and now she was stuck like this. She seemed really angry for a moment, but then her expression changed, and she seemed happy. She put Ned down and said she couldn’t stay mad at him, as he was just a cute unicorn and didn’t mean to curse her.

Ned had heard about cursed items but had never met anyone who had come into contact with one. Ned wondered what exactly it did to her. Was the curse what made her so short and thin? Perhaps it gave her that strange hair color she currently had.

Ned hoped Julie would explain it all; then he could use that to prank her, perhaps by revealing her secret to everyone. Julie ended up leaving to take a shower, leaving Ned alone to theorize what curse she could have gotten.

She ended up coming back some time later in her pajamas. She then left to eat dinner before coming back. Once that was done, she was tired and ready for bed. She pulled her blankets back, got on the bed, and covered herself up.

She then grabbed the unicorn plush and pulled it close to cuddle with it. Ned was quickly overwhelmed by this sudden situation. He’d never been held like that before; it was so warm, so tight, and strangely nice.

He liked it, almost loved it. He even got to watch Julie slowly drift to sleep and watch as she clearly had good dreams because she kept smiling. She looked so peaceful and so cute, and Ned felt like her protector, like he was the one fighting off the bad dreams.

For the first time in his life, he felt warm inside and didn’t feel the need to try and prank her or annoy her at all. He just wanted to make sure she slept nice and soundly, which she did for the next seven hours.

When she woke up, she greeted Ned and then went off to the bathroom. Ned was a bit disappointed she didn’t take him with her, as he felt uneasy being away from her and wanted to be by her side at all times.

He was under the impression she took the unicorn everywhere, but it made sense that there were a few places she didn’t even when she was at home. Once she came back, she got dressed and carried Ned to the kitchen so she could eat breakfast.

She ate, grabbed her school bag, and looked at Ned. She made a sad face and seemed like she was thinking deeply about something. She then took a deep breath and shook her head, saying something about not needing him at school anymore.

She then said that after yesterday, she didn’t want to lose him; plus, it was embarrassing that others likely saw him on the floor, so it was better to leave him here where he would be safe and waiting for her when she got home.

Julie then patted him on the head and told him to have a good day before she ran out of her apartment to head to college. Ned sat there a bit confused until he realized she wasn’t taking him with her, which was really bad news for him.

If he wasn’t in her bag today, his friend wouldn’t be able to steal him and turn him back to normal like they had planned, and he really doubted his friend was going to track him down and break into a random apartment just to turn him back.

Ned was starting to regret his choices, from being an annoying prankster to trying to find out what Julie was hiding and then finally turning himself into her plush in order to spy on her. Now it seems karma has finally caught up with him.

He’ll now be nothing but a stuffed unicorn for the remainder of his days. He now has all the time in the world to reflect on his actions, and perhaps he’ll find peace in being the trusted stuffy of a cute girl with a mysterious curse.

The original had the person who turned into the stiffed animal as a pervert/sexual predator type bad person. I couldn’t use that or the stuff I said he did, so in this version the character was just a prankster. Different enough to make it worth making into something like this, plus the new image is nice. Hmmm... I'm trying my best to understand, but I can't see what exactly you've done with this YouTube story. I just don't see any changes here.
