short story 43 - Der Unfall

This gives me the option to makes several short stories about this basic idea. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fumi is wondering why her old transformation device no longer properly works. She takes a break and leaves it switched on. Later is Izumi looking for Fumi but find her in her laboratory. By chance, she finds the bug in Fumi's device. A loose cable. As she touches it, the machine activates and turn Izumi into a gold statue. Then the machine goes out and smoke rises. Fumi heard the noises and come back. As she saw, that Izumi are turned into a statue, she tried to undo it, but the device get completely broken. This once allows Izumi to move slowly and unsteadily, and to speak slowly in a very metalic raspy voice. Otherwise, her body is still solid gold. While Fumi can repair her machine. But it will take weeks or months before she can transform Izumi back. She also goes to school as normal to be able to graduate. Since Fumi is known for her strange inventions in her neighborhood and at Izumi's school, no one finds it too strange that Izumi is now a living golden statue. Then let's see how Izumi will cope with her new everyday life. Continuation?
