Warmup Wednesday: Rain, Revy, Shizuma

Hiya!

It's a pretty busy time in Rosieland right now, with commissions and Yearbook requests and--as of last night--a Monthly Damsel! Midnight from My Hero Academia has won the poll, so I'm already working on sketching her.

All this doesn't leave me with a ton of time for warmups. Usually when I have work to do, I just pick something that needs sketching and make that my warmup, since it's easy to correct a sketch as I go along.

Nevertheless, here are three recent sketches. First we've got Rain from the still-untitled DID game doing a cool circular slash. I try to practice action poses whenever I can, because I have to animate her and other characters doing all sorts of cool moves. It'll come in handy when I finally get to make comics too.

Next we've got Revy from Black Lagoon, who was drawn as a Viewer's Choice entry for the Yearbook on a recent stream. Revy needs heavy bondage, so of course I went well out of the frame.

Finally there's Shizuma from Strawberry Panic, who was also a Viewer's Choice pick. This one wasn't in the Yearbook format to begin with, since I wasn't doing that last month.
