Blog: Damsel wiki + survey + win a free sketch!

Hiya!

I'm always trying to improve the way I do art and the experience my patrons have. As part of that, I'm running a survey:

The survey asks about Patreon content, commissions and more. If you participate, you can enter in a giveaway* for a free full body colored sketch valued at $35. The survey is open until June 15, 11:59 PM CEST. You must be 18 years or older to enter (but I'm sure I don't need to tell you that, since you already need to be that age to even be here!)

(* It should be obvious, but anyone can enter, not just patrons--the survey is also posted on DeviantArt, Twitter and Discord. I have to put this here because otherwise Patreon might think I'm going against their terms.)

In other news, I've been chipping away at one of my side projects, the newly renamed Animated Damsel Wiki. If you haven't heard of it before, it's a wiki dedicated to cataloguing DID scenes from animation, comics, novels and video games in an easily-searchable and thorough way. 

Of course, there are already resources that do this sort of thing, but by having it community-editable and provide templates for information, I hope that it can become at least as valuable as those.

The wiki is now in an "open beta" state. I think it's polished enough to be usable and I'm actively promoting it and encouraging people to contribute, but there might still be things that are missing or broken just because nobody's messed around enough to find these cases yet. I guess it's like an "early access" game on Steam.

Speaking of promoting the wiki, I'm actually having a bit of trouble finding people to contribute. I was given a very generous donation of tons upon tons of screenshots, but that alone doesn't make a wiki--the actual articles need to be made too, and I only have so much time and energy. That's where the community comes in.

So if you want to help, you can hop on the link above and start adding some stuff. If you can't or don't want to do that, you can still help by just promoting the wiki or providing feedback on stuff that's on there. There's a section for the wiki on my Discord server, and it's got its own Twitter page too.

One more thing before I go. This Saturday will have a stream as usual, but this week there won't be any art. Instead, the gaming portion of the stream takes over for a week so I can do a feature on Game Boy Advance games just in time for the system's 20th anniversary (yes, really--time flies!) Things will be back to usual next week, but do pop in if that sounds interesting. ^.^
