Blog: I've moved!

I've arrived safe and sound in the US and I'm settling into the new place. I'm already feeling a ton of withdrawal when it comes to drawing, especially because we bought a copy of Street Fighter V for PS4 and it's babe central. I remember I once tried to make a Street Fighter-themed DID folder back when I was a much less skilled artist... maybe that's an idea to revisit.
Unfortunately, I can't really draw right now, because it's taking a little time to get my desktop PC set up. In the interest of keeping the parts safe, I disassembled the computer, put all the parts in antistatic bags and took them with me on the plane here, leaving the case and power supply behind. We wanted to buy new ones locally, but Best Buy only had crappy gamer cases that don't have what I need, so we had to order them online.
This is one of those things I'm gonna have to get used to living in a much bigger country--back home in the Netherlands, you could order something from the other end of the country and probably get it in the mail the next day. Here I ordered from a site that's apparently based in California, so it's going to take a couple days to show up (and that's with the more expensive shipping option...) If anyone knows of a place that sells computer parts that's a little closer to the state of New York, I'd be happy to hear it. :V
Hopefully, everything will be set up in time for a stream around the weekend, so we can all celebrate the move together!
