The Road to 200! (And other Yearbook things)

Hellosie!

Now that I've finished the outstanding Yearbook requests, I'd like to talk a bit about upcoming attractions.

I'm getting close to reaching 200 Yearbook drawings, so I want to do something special. Before doing any more requests, I'm going to get to 200 by taking care of some unfinished business. First, I will finish the last three "Very Old Sketches": Rise from Persona 4, Nozomi from Love Live!, and Fujiko from Lupin III

I will also draw Caeda from Fire Emblem, because she was technically part of the Very Old Sketches, but her entry became a completely different drawing so I had to do it from scratch.

This has all been in the works for a while, and you can consider a lot of my backlog work from this year to be part of the "Road to 200". I just never got around to announcing it because of all the annoying crap I've had to deal with in real life.

Now, as for #200 itself... well, I'd like every nice round number to be something special. For #100, I did April O'Neil because she's such a classic damsel. For #150, I finished that old Black Cat sketch that I got talked into putting on DA and it got popular for some reason--and then for #151 I did Misty because number puns.

So this time around... I'm going to dig into my own past and draw a damsel from my childhood who I've actually never drawn before (unless you count messing around with markers in grade school)! Can you guess who it is?

After reaching that milestone, I think I might pull back on the Yearbook a bit. Of course I will still do requests, but I'd like to focus more on some of my other unfinished projects, like the Stella & Shizuku comic and the folder that I started years ago.

That doesn't mean I'm retiring the Yearbook, though, not by a long shot! I have plenty of damsels left on my bucket list. I even already know what I'll do for #300 when I get there! And in October 2023, it will be the 5th anniversary of when I started this whole thing, so I'll definitely have to come up with something really cool for that.

Lastly, I want to note that I'm going to start showing off the sketches for Yearbook requests, once they've been approved by the requester. Up until now I've always kept them secret until they're finished, but I think it will be cool to show off the sketches. If you're a Knight of the Bound Table and you don't want me to show off the sketches for your requests, please let me know!

That's all for now. Rosie rollin' out!
