Sneak Peak - September rewards

The focus for the month was Cat(ra)astrophe in an attempt to get the chapter finished or at least work on the AU more. I think it had the opposite effect but I'll explain more about that later.

Nsfw exclusive 1: I did a painted sketch for the first nsfw exclusive. It was a concept I had seen somewhere and thought it showed the possessive nature of the clones. It came out nice and enjoyed testing the new paint brushes I had downloaded.

Exclusive 1: Patron suggestion of Catra leaving marks on Adora to stake her claim.

Nsfw Early access: I finished another coloured page for the "Stuck, kitten?" Comic I've been working on.

Exclusive 2: Bow is trying to make friends with Ragdoll but shes not so sure about him.  

NSFW Exclusive 2: The clones are given something to help them relax and each have different reactions.

Exclusive 3: Adora has some workout buddies who have come to watch her.

NSFW End of Month art: Patron suggestion of the Clones fantasicing about how they would "have their way" with Adora if they had the chance. Because this end of month took a lot longer than expected, I'll be finishing the sketches later to give them the time they need.

Angora would like Adora to be in control of her.

Ragamuffin would like to be in control of Adora.

Ragdoll would like uninterrupted snuggles.

I realised when I was working on Cat(ra)astrophe and getting suggestions from my patrons, that the story for this AU is unclear. I have a rough idea of what I want to do with it and how its going to go but it needs more work than I realised to get it ready and written. The first chapter is fun, but its not a great representation of the story ahead and the themes it will have.

After I realised that the story needed work I started looking at other AU's that I haven't uploaded for a while and noticed the same problems. They are all held together with ducktape.

To resolve this issue, I'm going to put them on hiatis and remove the chapters from AO3. That way I can rewrite the stories to better fit the plot I want and upload them again all shiny and new. These stories are two years old as of this month and I think they deserve some better focus to make them great.

The stories I will be pausing are:

• Devil I Know

• Love from the Stars

• Cat(ra)astrophe

• Fortune, Fate and Firearms (This one doesn't need huge re-writes but I want to add more detail to the setting and history of the area.)

With these stories on the backburner I can finish the Nyanny and Leave your name on my heart without the guilt of needing to upload other AU's too. Then I can start the next project. I hope it's not disappointing, but they aren't being abandoned, just a later project.
