Patreon reward poll & discussion
Added 2019-10-24 21:37:25 +0000 UTCHiya, everyone! I've been at this whole Patreon thing for a little while now, and first of all: thank you! My pool of patrons may not be very big yet, but having a couple dedicated fans really helps my overstimulated scatterbrain to focus and put out some good content every month.
With that said, I'm always looking to improve the content I'm giving you. So here's a poll and discussion thread, not just for my patrons, but for all fans of my art.
For the poll, the question is: Which rewards do you enjoy? And if you're not a patron yet, which rewards look interesting to you?
For the comments, the question is: How can I improve my service? Are there any other potential rewards I could offer? Is there anything I can do to make the experience extra enjoyable?
I'd really love to know what everyone thinks.

Thanks for the huge comment! First of all, don't worry, I don't intend on ramping up the amount of content I'm making for the time being. One monthly drawing and my yearbook obligations is what I'm sticking with until things change in my life to let me dedicate more time and energy to drawing. I'm a little wary of turning over the specifics of the monthly drawing to the patrons, since that leaves very little in the way of artistic choices for myself. The most I could do is offer a vote when I've made multiple sketches I'd like to work on (I did this informally last month, but I could make it a proper poll.) I've considered the idea of adding more context to the Yearbook before, but I haven't been able to come up with a good format. Adding quotes would be a bit silly since they're all gagged, and adding too much context could actually limit my freedom; the "yearbook" idea came about just because of the visual format, but trying to play into it more would create this entire framework of all these damsels actually attending school together somehow... it sounds like a mess waiting to happen. (Actually, I floated the idea of renaming the Yearbook at one point, but nobody liked it.) As for adding more narrative to the monthly drawing, I could potentially do that. I always think of a bit of context for each drawing, but I describe it very briefly... I don't consider myself very skilled at writing bondage fiction. I'll make an effort to embellish it a bit more from hereon out though. Adding some extra panels or something to show the progression though, that could be a really interesting challenge!

The requested ones still have to come, and I am wondering if the sheer amount of drawing work you have for this month might be a bit too much. I don't live your situation, though, so I can't say if this is the case. My main point: You've produced a large amount of content this month. I lurk by nature, so my engagement can often be pretty minimal. I've enjoyed what you've drawn this month. The caveat is that the content will vary, and so will the interest of individual patrons. For instance, I'm not a huge fan of tentacles, or the damsel involved, so the monthly picture didn't do too much for me. I still liked it, but it didn't check all of my kink boxes, so to speak. Rather than adding more rewards, I think what I as a patron would ask for is for you to try and keep up a similar level of consistent production each month. Perhaps add a bit more possible engagement in picking the monthly drawing damsel and her bondage/torments; not everyone will get exactly what they want, but the ability to vote on which gal, perhaps even suggest them and then vote on them, could be nice. Since the main drawing is the biggest individual piece of content you'll produce each month, I'd say focusing engagement on that might be wise. That all being said, I don't want you to burn out trying to do too much, as I imagine all this drawing is a lot of hard work. Now some suggestions based purely off of my own tastes. One of my favorite things with kink is a bit of context and narrative to drive the situation. The yearbook damsels are good, but are a bit static on their own - that's not necessarily a flaw, though, since the concept is a bunch of bust/headshots of damsels. Not a ton of room for dialogue or thought bubbles, for instance. Although writing a quote for each damsel below their picture could add a bit of charm, I think! What I'd like to see in the monthly drawing is a bit more narrative. This would be more work, I want to acknowledge up front. I'm picturing a touch of dialogue, or a few thought bubbles, and maybe a smaller panel or two showing something like a gag being tied on, or a chibi version of the damsel just prior to her captivity, to show us the before and after. Touches like this could make the monthly drawing feel more dynamic, and give the pinup more character. Even a small narrative in the description of the post, to complement the picture, could be great. Those are all my thoughts for now, I think. I still feel I'm getting my money's worth, overall, and I can't see that changing anytime soon.
