New year update! (Patreon and Subscribestar)
Hey guys I meant to do an end of year writeup back in early January but I had a ton of trouble getting my words together. I felt really down. Everything I typed was negative. I don't want to be like that. I think this year is gonna be really positive.
First of all, if you're reading this, thank you. Your contributions really do help me a lot. Sometimes I don't know where I'd be without such generosity from you.
BUT
Something I heard another creator say recently spurred me into saying this: If for any reason you need to pull your support, I won't be offended. I don't want anyone to feel obligated to give. I really appreciate what you've given, however I'm not going to laser in on you and say "how dare you!". Please. If you're having trouble or just wanted to give a certain amount and you're finished, don't feel bad. You may cancel if you like. I won't think any less of you. I promise and I understand.
First order of business is me grinding away at the work I have out.
(which I'll be returning to when I'm done posting this). Up next will be Mei from Overwatch and a colored pic of Chiaki from Danganronpa2.
Second order is that I'm scaling back my operation.
I will be doing way less commissions and way more patreon/ subscribestar. I have some things planned but I'd rather blindside you (in a good way) than promise them outright. I won't be discussing these projects again until they're ready.
You guys are great and I'd like to really show you how much I appreciate you this year. I'm still taking things as they come my way. I'm also looking for a second job to help me with my month to month living expenses. Although my ultimate dream is to use patreon to pay my rent, I realize it takes a lot of time and I'm gonna have to work a hell of a lot more efficiently to make it come true.
But I will keep going, keep drawing.
