Per update, or monthly?
Added 2017-03-09 11:10:15 +0000 UTCHi everyone! It seems we might have to wait a long time if we want to build updates for this game through "per update" support.
So, the question is simple : should we stay on "per update" settings for charge, until we are enough supporters to get some stuff done, or should we switch to a "monthly" charge to build up a reserve?
There's no wrong answers here, and situation could evolve anyway in the future, so just speak your heart!

For the Per Update, I could pledge more IF there is enough advance notice (like a full month's cycle) so I can ensure I have the funds freed up for my budget and in my accounts (skip that Night Out with the family, etc…)

2017-06-18 00:26:56 +0000 UTCFor people not understanding fully (it can look complicated indeed!) : - "per month" setting means patreon.com will charge your pledge once per month (at the end of each month), wether there is a factual update or not. Meaning you could end up paying once, twice or more your pledge amount before getting a single real update. Advantage of this method is that it will quickly gather enough contributions to make a factual update. - "per update" setting means patreon.com will charge your pledge only when I decide we have enough to make one. Which can take several months, as you can see, without anything coming. Advantage of this method is you don't pay anything until we're ready. Both options have pros and cons, there's no right or wrong setting, it's just up to you and how you see (and prefer) things!
