HEY FOLKS,

I hope you're ready for another behind-the-scenes update featuring gratuitous Whiskey. (🥃) Boy, do I love drawing that hockey-playing, Samwell-loving (he loves Samwell), cool-hair-cut-having KID.

🚨SPOILERS ahead. 🚨 All of these pages are from one comic! Hmm!!!

First, please look at my thumbnail for this page. The most satisfying thing about drawing thumbnails is knowing that with a little bit of elbow grease and several years of art education, this scribble-mess can be transformed into actual sequential art.

Bitty finally reaping what he sowed, a HUG BETWEEN NURSEY AND DEX???, and a hand knocking on a door jamb....Oh, I'm sure you were able to decipher that all from the thumbs. OF COURSE.

BOY, do I love drawing Bitty's room in the Haus. I've thought about it so much and from so many different angles, I feel like I know where everything is? It's like having a 3D model in my head.

This is the best picture of Whiskey I've ever drawn. (He's not saying "peasant" but I realize it might look like he is.) I was saying over on Discord: supercilious is literally derived from the Latin for eyebrow and I always think of that word while drawing Whiskey. He always looks a little "better-than-you."

Whoof, I had to re-draw the page that I started during the public livestream on Twitch. The difference between attempting a page an hour into a drawing day versus after 3 or 4 hours of drawing + warm-up.

Some Answers To Questions

Okay, why does Parse wear dogtags? (This is in reference to a picture from Huddle 1.) It was an aesthetic choice for one drawing, I believe. In Huddle 3 Parse is wearing CROAKIES for his sunglasses, not dogtags. Correct me if I'm wrong, you can get dogtags at a lot of places.

Do we have any info on parents or siblings? Other than Bitty and Jack, we don't have much info on parents. (Though Shitty's dad went to JAIL for WHITE COLLAR CRIMES.) And as for siblings, ditto. 😅🙏 I'm sorry, the granularity of my worldbuilding only goes so far!!

How long did Shitty's dad go to jail and for long? I'm literally looking up how long Kenneth Lay's sentence was after the 2007 hearings. Ahhh let's say 27 months. I literally will not remember this!!
