 I still have hours of colorings to do, but....look at this? This page from months ago is beginning to look complete.   The image above is desaturated since the hues aren't spot-on, but the values work really well.

- jack is copy/pasting Bitty's texts into a word processing app. He just checks back every 5 minutes with a "oh that's interesting" "wow" "can you give me a link to that recipe".
- It's 5AM and Jack's awake and intermittently texting Bitty "wow the war really changed things" and then texting Shitty "Bitty's been writing for 9 hours"
- Jack wakes up at like 9AM to get on the plane:

Q:  If Check Please were to be animated, would you prefer everyone to be rendered in the style of your comic (like manga-to-anime), or would you like it to be different style(s)?
If Check Please were animated, I'd like for the style to be close to my one? The re-designs would be slightly different, I bet. But hopefully face shapes and how I draw hands, for example would be similar. And like...my line weights?

Q: Do you always freehand the lettering for the comics or do you sometimes you a font that matches?
Re: Lettering - I rarely do lettering by hand! It's pretty time-consuming. But I'll probably create my own custom font--based on my handwriting--in the future. My friend Gale Galligan did this approach with their Babysitter's Club pages and it really works well.
