Check, Please!: Sticks & Scones – Cover & Linework

Exciting news! I recently finished the cover of my second book. I completed 98% of the Check, Please!: Sticks & Scones cover in December of 2018, but I let the illustration sit for a few weeks, revisited it, and now the cover is done and in the hands of First Second. It's done. It's so bizarre to know that this image will be in 100s of bookstores next year. IT'S EXCITING. I can't reveal the cover just yet, but here's a small sneak-peek.

As for story inside—Check Please! Years 3 & Year 4—I'll be done with EVERYTHING BUT COLORING....this month. Year Four will essentially be done this month. That's over 20 chapters of Check Please. I'll be spending all of May and June coloring the comic.

And then I'll be done.

Updates, When?

Not this month! But I'm shooting for a late May or early June update. Patrons will 100% get access to the comic before it goes up. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED PATIENCE.....@_@ ALMOST THERE.

Anime Boston (April 19-21)

\o/ I'll be attending my very first Anime Boston this month! Okay, Anime Boston is nearly impossible to get in to, so I'm thrilled that I got a table this year. (I've tried and failed before. 😔) I love the city of Boston and I'll be spending the weekend sitting with Madeline Rupert and yelling about manga. COME VISIT US. 🙏
