Progress REPORT!!!

HELLO FOLKS!

A PROGRESS REPORT. I apologize for not posting one sooner, but I moved and basically had a three week period where my entire life was in boxes. 8^) This post is filled with spoilers, so beware.

Moving & Deadlines. I moved! I'm super thrilled to have an studio with a door that closes!! Just last month, I was working mere feet away from my kitchen,  in my living room,  in corner that wasn't very well lit. Now? Light! Vistas! Air! Huzzah!

Stuff I've Drawn & Colored.  The month of June is for coloring. I've jumped in head first.  

Coach meeting some of Bitty's pals! He seems nice enough....?

A hockey game! This was so much fun to draw and I love how the colors turned out. (Lots of reds and blues and yellows--very primary color-centric.) I've been playing around with using diagonal and chaotic paneling to create more energy on a page.

Christopher Chow was tasked with alerting all of Samwell University's campus that Eric Bittle was NOT allowed into student kitchens, near off-campus ovens. DO NOT LET THIS BAD BOY BAKE. Perhaps Chowder was destined to be a graphic designer?

Stress.

More stress. And tears.

I truly love drawing Faber and will miss it! After a few color holds on those back board lines and some shading in the foreground, this shot could feel so epic. I hope I do it justice. It's the back drop for an important moment!!

MISCELLANEOUS!!

• Bitty's stuff with his dad is like Bitty having a super messy room and Jack is like "what if we got you a garbage can?" And Bitty is like "WHY!!! My trash is in a TIDY PILE"
  A bug crawls out of the pile
  Jack: ._.
  Jack: well, it is in a pile
  Jack: I guess he's dealing with it
  
  Bitty: IT IS MY ECOSYSTEM
  
  Eventually, however:
  Jack: YOU NEED
  JACK: TO TALK!!!!
  JACK: TO YOUR FATHER youhaventseenhimsincethestableycup!!!!!!!
  Bitty: you just don't UNDERSTAND

  Jack: oh my god
• I love finally being able to corner Bitty so that he has to engage with conflict. Like, the boy can only take so much. And standing up to his father is something he can now do as a senior who has been through so much, as a captain who has earned the respect of his team, as a YOUNG ADULT finding his way. I'm so excited for Coach II, III....and IV.
• So Chowder 100% made posters warning all of Samwell about Bitty's baking. (Because Bitty needs to NOT bake....because Bitty needs to write a thesis.) It's difficult, however, for Chowder to say anything truly mean to ERIC BITTLE, his very good friend.
  Chowder: BITTY!!!! YOU'RE....BEING!!!! NOT GREAT!!!
  Chowder: I'm....disappointed!!!!!
  Chowder: Please consider your thesis!! Maybe!!!
