I've been having a blast doing these and this particular batch has many favorites. Here are the original sketches:

I, uh, forgot my iPad stylus while at the library (I think I might have straight up lost that thing AUGGH) so I used pieces of scrap paper. Behold my high-tech LIFE.

- Chowder yelling "WOOT" is obviously a fave. That boy loves the Sharks so much. An incomprehensible amount of Sharks loving.

- Bitty's selfie is during #TeamBreakfast, right after he realizes that he " left 4 dozen flashcards at a friend's house." Whoops. Eric Bittle, Worst Student On The Planet, Chaos & Disaster Swirling in Pies & Procrastination

- I'm really happy with how the "DEX LAUGHS HIS ASS OFF AT NURSEY" picture turned out...the colors really show that it's a cold, chilly morning. Also I have never drawn Dex laughing that hard.

I was working on cover designs the other day while hanging out with pals! I want the cover to capture the feeling of Bitty's twitter and also the emoji-social-media-texting-internet-meme zeitgeist? So the speech balloon motifs kind of points to direct messages and texting design... The thing I'm most hyped about is trying to do a picture book style for the cover! (Like the Hockey Prince.)
