Getting on Discord & Into the Patreon Server!

HELLO! This is a quick guide to explain how to access the Patreon Discord server. Our Discord server has been an especially fun space for me, since it's been the easiest and fastest way to share my #RAMBLINGS. (Remember ramblings? It's a lot of ramblings.) This quick guide covers how to connect to Discord and also how to use it.

How To Connect

1. Create a Discord Account. Also, make sure you're on the right reward tier, which is $5 as of 9/20/19.

2. Go to your profile settings. Under profile settings you'll see an tab called "Apps." Click on the Connect button next to Discord.

3. And that's it! You should see my server in your list of servers--a baby Jack.

How to Use This Discord

Basically, the server has channels where only I post, and then channels where you can comment and chat.

The Pinned Message on #Announcements: "My approach: It is not my goal to make a “new fandom space” for Check Please or my other projects. I feel like it’d be more fair (not to mention more inclusive) to leave that up to the readers. Instead, this is a place where I can share thoughts and ideas and users can react/interact with that content. This is in some ways an extension and replacement of my previous behind-the-scenes blog. Given the size of this fandom, this is the best option for me.
