Reader, I must inform you that it is February.

Yes. I don't know how it happened either. But here we are, shuffling bleary-eyed into the dawn of yet another month in the year. For Check, Please! this is the quiet before the storms of March and April, which is when promotion for CHECK, PLEASE!: STICKS & SCONES ramps up to 9 bazillion miles per hour.

What's Going On

- Comic 4.20 Update??? 😯

- By the end of this month, I should be 30% done with thumbnails and scripts for Project Yesenia. Which is wild. The graphic novel will end up being about 250-300 pages, so that's 100 pages of brand new storytelling. Gah. I'll continue to share environments and snippets until the narrative coalesces and I can actually vaguely discuss it. But as I posted on Twitter, it's very much about how black girls view themselves. So, you know, right in line with Check, Please! this is sarcasm.

- Re: Check, Please! I'll be doing scheduled interviews for online magazines. Drawing a lot of promo. Generally getting ready. I want to do a giveaway??? Signed books? I'll pull out the button machine?
