This is a ribbon series that continues from the last post.
Originally, I had two types of isopods in mind and drew them. One was Powder Blue Isopods (Porcellionides pruinosus), and the other was a black Armadillidium, but I ended up coloring it in blue to match the mood. I searched for other blue isopods and found out that there is a disease called "Invertebrate iridescent virus 31". That virus turns isopods a beautiful blue, but it slowly kills them 😨 My art world is happy, so every animal should be healthy. So once I found out about that virus, I had to change the type of isopod...
The bright blue ribbon goes really well with the isopod 😁
I drew a ribbon isopod in 2018 too : Swimming giant isopod WIP
I thought I should draw some fish too.. I've drawn a lumpsucker before : [ doodle ] lumpsuckers
I really like the expression on this fish's face 😁
I have a few more 🎀 things in mind to draw, so I'll upload wallpaper post later. Thanks!
