There are many of us holding out - the one good thing, is thank god for economic separation, because we don't have to see the musks & the rogan's only their effects downstream.

2021-11-19 19:47:46 +0000 UTCMy husband was born and raised in Austin/ central Texas, we've thought about returning because we miss Austin a lot but the insane house prices and rents have permanently slammed the door on that idea. It was hard enough to buy a house in the suburbs when we bought back in 2013, it'd be totally impossible for us now. The thought of the city being flooded with Elon and Rogan types, plus covid, has made me miss Austin a little less though.
